The Laws

These laws have been written to show that we are bit more flexible than most site staff. But we are still very serious people and not to be reckoned with. So please read, understand, and follow these rules to help us keep the site running smoothly.

1. Fighting:
Please... do not fight on this site. We do not want to bring the fighting from the actual game here.

2. Double Posting:
Double posting is a major unwanted on many sites. We do not want it here.

3. No Spamming:
No Spamming means that you cannot post one word post, a letter or word per line, the same forum or post in more than 4 boards. Anyone caught spamming will be warned and then warned again if it continues. However after the second warning the user will be banned for a week and all advertisements post or thread involving the spam will be deleted!

4. No Profanity:
No cussing, cursing, or using foul language. There are young adults and children on the forum. We don't want this site to look trashy, so keep the language clean. If you must curse... please put stars to replace the letters. (Eg. Sh*t, C**p, F***, etc.) Otherwise let the built in site filter do it's job.

5. Do not pose as a staff member:
It doesn't matter what the title is; if it is not you then don't pose as one. Anyone who is caught posing as a professor, Administrator or Moderator will be banned.

6. Read all stickies and announcements:
Read all marked threads and announcements before posting. They are for your benefit!

7. Do not give your password out to anyone:
DO NOT give your account password or any password out. Not even to a staff member. I repeat: DO NOT give out your passwords!

8. Do not ask to be a staff member:
These people were selected for a reason. You can apply for certain positions, but DO NOT PM anyone about a job.

9. Signing Rules:
Rules are a must. Simple as that. There are two sets of rules that you must sign. The Laws (this one), and the cBox Agreement. BOTH sets of rules must be signed before you can start posting.

10. Don't Argue with the Staff:
We work our butts off for this site to run smoothly. We don't do all that work just so you can spit in our faces. If you argue with our rules and decisions, you might just find yourself banned.

11. Names:
So that we will understand exactly who you are in the guild we simply ask that you use your actual name from the game on the site.

12. Affiliation:
If you wish to affiliate/advertise a site. DO NOT send out PM's or post in the cBox to do so. We have an advertising board to do that. If you wish to affiliate/advertise your site go to Homelands and post there. If you are caught not abiding by this rule you will be banned.

13. Do not post threads appreciating yourself:
Threads such as the Smiles Movement on Final Prophecy or about your day or stating why you are leaving etc. are allowed, however, threads started by you, saying you should be appreciated, be it "Bow down before me" or something else are not allowed. Please note that threads like the Smiles Movement, thanking a certain member for their contribution, were not started by the member it is thanking. We have little tolerance for this. These threads shall be deleted immediately and consider yourself lucky if you are not also banned.

14. Spelling and Grammar:
Like many sites we pride ourselves on our level of grammar and correctness of spelling. So please keep up the standard and use correct spelling and appropriate grammar. If you are not one of the greatest English spelling/grammar minds atleast try your best. We wont hold anything against you.

15. Respect:
This is a major must. Not only must you respect the staff members and other members. You must respect our resident Graphics Mistress, Acaril Huntmaster. As she has stated herself on her graphics board she has little patience for those who "kick up a fuss". So if you do not like something that she has made DO NOT abuse her for it. Be polite and bring it to her attention. Then, and only then, she might do something about it.

AND DO NOT abuse her on the fact that she does not play WoW herself. She is here purely to provide the site and its members with stunning graphics. So be nice on that fact too. We would like to keep her here as long as possible.

**Please note that these rules are subject to change at any moment.**

Now that you have seen and hopefully read the rules you are required to sign them. Please sign this with the following so I know we all agree.
